The Phase I trees and shrubs are (mostly) installed at our new Hops Meadow project! Ashfield Aesthetic is wrapping up the fieldstone wall— which is nothing short of a work of art— before moving onto more hardscaping near the future parking court.

A big thanks to our guys at for providing the two stately Carpinus, and to and for the Buxus, Hydrangeas, and Clethra.

How'd we do?!

Our clients love to dine and entertain on their wonderfully private woodland property, but the previous gardens didn't exactly feel welcoming... So our brief was to design a lush retreat that complemented the surrounding forest whilst providing texture and color all season. The beds are tightly planted with tough perennials to minimize weeding and maintenance. We leaned heavily on interesting foliage here too, seen in the Rodgersia, Athyrium, Polygonatum, and Hostas.
