The Crafty Cat story ~
It started as a joke really - me and a friend were discussing how we could never find the right candle colors and/or fragrances that we liked when we wanted them. So, what do you do if you can’t find something you want, you make it. Around this time, I lost my job and our financial outlook was scary. We always joked about our cat, Velvet having to contribute to the house in some way (not even our human child got to live here rent free) - she doesn’t like doing dishes, or even cleaning her own litter box - so we made her president of the candle business and this is now ‘her job’. She can be found inspecting shipments from the UPS man and climbing into boxes to make sure they are sturdy enough to package product to sell at the market.
We pride ourselves on offering 100% US grown soybean wax candles to our community and friends. Our wicks have no metals in them, only cotton and paper. If you ever have a problem with a candle not burning correctly, please make sure to contact us, we will make it right!
Please, if nothing else, help Velvet keep the lifestyle in which she has become accustomed to - long naps and lots of catnip. Oh, and treats ~ lots of treats.
