Two unexpected finds this week while organizing! 👀

While decluttering under our client’s kitchen sink, we discovered water 💧 from a small leak that had made one side of the cabinet damp, along with the products and sponges stored there. Let’s be honest—how often do we really inspect that area?

The good news? Our client called her plumber right away, and the issue was fixed the very same day! 🙌

Next, while organizing the pantry, we noticed evidence of unwanted visitors 🐭. We immediately brought it to our client’s attention, pulled everything out, cleaned and wiped down the affected areas, and got the space ready for treatment.

Now when the exterminator arrives, there’s nothing in the way of getting the job done! ✅

It’s so important…….

To wipe down those ledges, countertops, windowsills, baseboards and vacuum after purging and decluttering.

Who knows the last time that area has seen any of that and life happens. Dust, pollen dog hair etc.

So take those extra few minutes and make it happen. Have the vacuum ready with the canister empty (better suction) and a fresh package of lysol wipes.

First aid stuff everywhere?

It’s important to get it together, check dates and come up with a plan!

Here we kept according to the family size. 4 bins, 1 for the dogs, 1 for medicine, 1 for bandages and gauze and 1 for the electronic testers.

Made a donation pile for a local shelter.

They make it so easy they send you a bag with pre paid labels. Talk about a win win 🏆

She has now since sent out hundreds of “loose/ missing” socks.

Make sure they are clean, all brands, color sizes, and material welcome! Stuff them in the bag and then drop off at any FedEx location

No landfill here!

Walked into the shower to see this and really appreciate this feature now. 🚿

So many of us take the samples, never using them or even using it once then tossing. Talk about wasteful.

So this makes my adult self happy ✨

Think of the cleaning, tossing and now saving these huge hotels can do. The earth is so much better for it 🌏

Many half filled notebooks & journals? Maybe it’s time to let go?

If the journals are written in too much, consider just tossing! If it’s just a few pages, rip them out keep them in one place so you have them on hand. If you have too many or aren’t crazy about the style, color etc maybe consider donating?

I know which ones feel right and I like and the ones I don’t.

What is your style? I’m a spiral fan for sure.

Lazy holiday weekend aggressively working at my home ✨

So I’ve decided to stay in and really reevaluate my contents again and again. For me it’s always in motion, what can I do without?

So far this morning the bathroom was fine, my small drawer cleaned, tossed, organized and donated.
