Hi everyone! 🌱
I’m Jane, owner of Sunkissed Garden here in Central Florida, and I’m looking to connect with other people who are interested in growing their own food, gardening, homesteading, sustainable living, and becoming a little less dependent on the grocery store.
Over the last few years I’ve become increasingly interested in food security, edible landscaping, fruit trees, raised-bed gardening, composting, seed saving, and practical ways to produce more of what we eat right in our own backyards. I’m still learning every day and would love to connect with others who share the same passion.
I’d love to find local people interested in exchanging ideas, sharing knowledge, trading plants or seeds, visiting each other’s gardens, and maybe even organizing occasional meetups. Whether you’re an experienced homesteader, a backyard gardener, or just getting started with a few tomato plants, I’d love to hear from you.
Florida offers an incredible opportunity to grow food nearly year-round, yet so much knowledge about edible plants, gardening techniques, and self-sufficiency has been lost. I believe we can learn a lot from one another and build stronger local connections along the way.
