We spent part of last week installing much needed catch basins (AC condensate lines) for NS subscribers. I thought I would ask if anyone else was interested in re-directing the condensation that constantly drips? This area builds up algae and fungus and usually leaves a mess under the drip line. I use a 9” basin that sits just above ground to make it visible to lawn care companies. 6” of crush rock is put under the basin for drainage (Holes drilled in basin) and another 5” in basin for a slow distribution process. The cost is 195.00. If your drip lines are separated (if I cannot use the same basin for 2 drip lines) then the cost would be 310.00. I will attach photos of a couple I installed last week. I also plant grass seed to fill in bare areas around basin.

Our AC condensate drip lines leave ugly algae/fugus on our manicured lawns. Installing these catch basins with perforated holes allow for water distribution and easy cleaning methods.

Good evening Starkey. Just a quick “friendly” reminder to make sure your sinks are not leaking. Found a kitchen sink today that had a very slow leak at the lock nut. This is one of the many routine check points that are made durning a maintenance assessment.

Good morning!!!

It takes a lot of time, energy and preparing to maintain our Florida Homes. Make sure you don’t forget to maintain your hot water heaters. You should have your water heaters flushed after the 1st year of use. The manufacture urges to have flushed every year. If you don’t have a water softener then you should stick to those guidelines. If you do have a water softener/conditioner then every 2 years is sufficient.
