We are sad to let all of our people know that SoulFest 's Soulstice in the Park Event has been canceled.

While we will miss seeing our Hastings community, we fully support the Soulfest Committee's decision to cancel the event. The enjoyment and safety of patrons and vendors has always been a top priority and this decision reflects that.

We hope to see you all at Soulfest in the fall or next year at Soulstice in the park next year!

🌩️ IMPORTANT SOULSTICE UPDATE 🌩️

Friends, after watching the forecast evolve over the past several days, we've made the difficult decision to cancel Soulstice in the Park for Saturday, June 20th.

We always say "rain or shine"...

Unfortunately, nobody mentioned "pavilion-flipping winds, hail, and possible tornadoes." 😅

While we're generally willing to negotiate with Mother Nature, 50+ MPH winds and severe weather are where we draw the line. The safety of our vendors, volunteers, performers, guests, four-legged friends, and community members has to come first.

Trust us when we say this wasn't an easy decision. We've poured months of planning, excitement, creativity, and heart into this event, and we know many of you were looking forward to spending the day together.

💜 To our vendors: Thank you for your flexibility, patience, and support.

💜 To our volunteers: Thank you for showing up for this community, even when the weather had other plans.

💜 To our attendees: Thank you for being part of what makes SoulFest and Soulstice so special.

While we can't control the weather, we can choose to take care of one another—and that's exactly what we're doing.

For now, we encourage everyone to stay safe, stay weather-aware, and maybe send a strongly worded letter to the storm system on our behalf. 🌪️

We'll be sharing additional information in the coming days, including plans for vendors and future events.

Thank you for being part of this wonderful community. We may not get our day in the park this weekend, but the connections, creativity, and spirit that make Soulstice special aren't going anywhere.

Stay safe, friends. We'll see you again soon. 🌿✨

The wheel has been turning toward this moment all year — Litha. Midsummer. The sun at her fullest.
This is the spell jar we make for the solstice. Every ingredient is sun-ruled and chosen with intention. St. John's Wort and calendula for protection and joy. Sunstone, citrine, and carnelian for vitality, abundance, and courage.
We walk through every ingredient and why it belongs in the jar. Watch it above and make your own before the solstice.
This is your season too. 🌞

The Knight of Cups arrives not with the heat of a warrior, but with the steady, peaceful intent of a dreamer. This is the card of the romantic quest, the moment you stop overthinking and start following the lead of your own heart. He carries his cup like an offering, a symbol of the vulnerability required to share your true self with the world.

Upright, this Knight is a messenger of beauty. He signals an approaching opportunity for deep connection or a sudden rush of creative inspiration. With his winged helmet and heels, he moves at the speed of the subconscious, bringing ideas that swim up from the deep. It is a time to say "yes" to the things that make your heart beat a little faster and to trust that your emotions are a sacred compass.

Reversed, the Knight can wander into "heart-fog." The dream becomes an escapist fantasy, and the poetry begins to sound like a mask. It’s a warning of disillusionment; when we fall in love with a feeling rather than a person, or use our emotions to manipulate a situation because we’ve lost our floor. When flipped, it’s a nudge to check your grounding: Am I in love with the person, or just the way they make me feel?

Emotions are beautiful guides, but they make for poor masters when the tide turns.

The longest day of the year has arrived.

Litha, or Midsummer, is the solstice; the still point at the top of the wheel.

For one suspended moment, the light is absolute and the sun king stands at the height of his reign before the slow surrender to the dark half of the year begins.

This is a day of paradox and beauty. Even as we celebrate the fullness of light, the wheel is already turning. The oak king and the holly king exchange their ancient crown. The first quiet breath of transformation, hidden within the blaze of noon.

In the old ways, midsummer fires were lit on hilltops as mirrors to the sun: an act of devotion, of solidarity, of saying ”we see you, we hold this light with you.” The herbs gathered today carry the sun's full potency. The dew collected at dawn holds midsummer magic.

Whether you mark this day with a bonfire or a single gold candle, with bare feet in the grass or a windowsill of chamomile and St. John's Wort, you are participating in the oldest recognition: that the earth has a rhythm, and we are part of it.

Happy Litha! ✨

There is always a certain rhythm to preparing for a gathering. Quiet intention, and the excitement of bringing pieces into a space filled with music, art, and community.

We’ll see you beneath the trees at Chautauqua Park.

She is the winter-bloomer, a resilient shrub that defies the frost to reveal her golden, ribbon-like petals when the rest of the forest is asleep. Witch Hazel has long been a master of redirection, possessing a unique ability to bend and sway without breaking.

The physical applications of this bark and leaf are centered on the power of constriction and calm. As a primary ingredient in toners and salves, she works to pull things back together, cooling the heat of irritation and providing antiseptic cleansing for bruises or minor bleeding. She is particularly effective for those seeking to refresh and tame a troubled scalp or skin. She offers a quiet, tightening grace that restores order to the exterior.

Spiritually, this plant acts as an energetic filter, catching harmful intentions and steering them away from your center. She is an ally for healing and protection, creating a buffer that allows you to recover in peace. Because of her history with dowsing, she is also a profound guide for the intuition, helping you locate the hidden springs of truth within your own life when the path ahead feels dry or uncertain.

If you find yourself carrying the heavy, stagnant weight of grief within your muscles or just beneath the surface of your skin, a wash steeped from her bark can provide a necessary release. Use her to cleanse what you have kept skin-close for too long, allowing the water to carry away the residue of old sorrows. She reminds us that even in the middle of winter, we have the power to find our way back to the source.

The tents have come down, the roads are quieter again, and we’re carrying a little piece of Cheyenne home with us.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth this weekend at the Cheyenne Celtic Festival. Thank you for the stories, the conversations, the laughter, and for letting us be part of your weekend gathering.

Until the next road and the next gathering.

Some stones comfort you by brightening the room.
Amethyst comforts by quieting it.

Deep violet and cool in the hand, she has long been kept near bedsides, prayer spaces, and grieving hearts. Not because she removes pain, but because she helps the spirit soften around it. She slows the spiral. Eases the noise. Makes room for breath to return.

Amethyst has always been tied to clarity—not the sharp kind that cuts, but the kind that settles slowly, like moonlight across dark water. She’s used for intuition, dreamwork, meditation, and protection, especially when emotions are running high or the mind won’t stop reaching for every possible outcome at once.

In older traditions, she was worn to guard against excess and clouded judgment. A reminder to remain clear-headed even when the world pulls hard at your edges. And she still carries that wisdom now.

Keep her near during sleep if your dreams have grown restless. Place her beside your cards or journal when you need honesty without harshness. Hold her during grief, transition, or those strange seasons where you no longer feel like who you were, but haven’t yet become who you’re meant to be.

Amethyst doesn’t demand transformation.
She simply sits beside you long enough for it to happen naturally.

The second morning arrives a little softer.

The tables have been reset, the stones are catching the morning light again, and the herbs still carry the scent of the studio and the road.

If you missed us yesterday, there is still time to wander by and find the pieces waiting for you.

We’ll be here at Lions Park till 4PM (Mountain).
