We got the materials to the site out in Pyrites on Monday for the roof and porch roof. The house is only 13-14 years old but the 3 tab shingles weren’t sealed anymore and had a few leaks. The bottom of the valley out front right before the door was badly rotted so I removed it an replaced the decking and got it dried in and back to level with the shingles for the strapping. We have to install a section of gutter right there bc that area has caused bad erosion on the ground which they want us to fix then put a concrete slab there and new steps, along with a few other jobs. We’re also removing the pellet stove pipe completely and patching the wall and stripping the front porch roof completely. We’ve made good progress on the house and have only valley cuts left aside from the last section we’ll do working our way off the roof.

I forgot to post but we went out to Norfolk a few weeks ago to remove snow and ice from a roof for a repeat customer from last year! She wanted an estimate so we will be going back out after this roof in Pyrites to get it done! Thank you for your continued TRUST and support!

A week late but we finished up the roof in Waddington last Saturday! We extended the sewage exhaust vent pipes by 2’ each bc they were all cut down to the boot and covered in snow🤦🏻‍♂️ They are very happy customers and sad to see us go but they also have a list of other work that they want an estimate for so we will be going back out in a cpl of months. We love repeat customers! Thank you for your continued TRUST and support! And thank you to my team for toughing out this brutal winter with me on a few tough jobs!

I went out to the East Rd last weekend to plow for a future customer that wants quite a bit of work done ranging from interior remodeling to stripping all vinyl siding and replacing with cement board siding and building a wrap around deck for her house! She also wants me to take a look at her roof so i will be going to look at all of this asap to get her some estimates and get them scheduled! Her driveway hadn’t been plowed in quite some time and badly needed it. I look forward to completing her projects in the very near future! Thank you for your TRUST and support!

Our next roof out in Hermon/Pyrites is another 1 story strap and metal. We went out and cleared the roof of 2’ snow and quite a bit of ice dam along the whole back side of the roof. The whole back side along the eaves has been leaking for a cpl of years now causing damage to the interior of their home every winter. A lot of the shingles are not sealed and 1 of the boots was completely broken so we repaired it to get them through until we could give them a new roof! We will have to extend the pvc plumbing vents like the one in Waddington as they were cut way too short per code and for our region with all of the snow we get. We’re stripping and replacing the metal on the front porch and properly flashing it, along with replacing some missing siding above the front porch roof.

We’ve gotten off to a great start out in Waddington, it’s nice to be on a 1 story for a change!🤣 We’ve got it just about completely strapped, just gotta do some fill ins and finish it off first thing Monday morning then we’ll be getting drip edge, valleys on and getting ready for metal! We removed the seamless gutter system on Friday as it was installed wrong and was causing way more damage than good! The bottom right corner of the roof was rotted out because of the gutters filling up with ice and ice dams backing up under the shingles. To remind you this roof was just completely stripped and redone 3 years ago by a shoddy contractor/ scam artist that should not be on anyone’s roof! On Friday I removed the shingles on the corner, cut out and replaced the rotted osb, and reinforced the fascia board and the rake fascia board. Then installed ice and water shield and shingles to make it back level with the rest of the roof for our straps. They chose brown metal and it’s going to look great, our longest sheets are 25’ for the front porches tied into the main house roof! Stay tuned for updates and the finished result!

A little late but we finally finished up the roof up on Lake st last Friday! It was a brutal job to do this time of the year with all of the snow we’ve gotten and with how cold it’s been. Especially 3 stories up, right on the river🤣🥶💪🏻❄️
The weather definitely was not on our side but we stuck it out and got it done thankfully! Along with doing the 2 main roofs, we also did both window awning roofs and the flat roof on the very top. We removed the chimney that was deteriorating and rotting at the roofs surface and had been leaking for years. The customer asked us to build her a door for her basement doorway to keep the cold air out and the warm air in so we built one and installed it for her.

Here’s an update on the roof on Lake st, it’s been brutal but we’re getting there! Wrapping this one up asap and on to the next one in Waddington!! I forgot to take pics last night but got the back side done too on the big roof, now to do the smaller back roof, the one above the window and the flat roof on top after all the rest are done! The chimney was not in use and was all rotted below the deck in the attic so instead of building a cricket and flashing it we decided to take it down below the roof and patch it. The homeowner said she could already feel the difference as it was losing heat all around it, you could see daylight in the attic from around the chimney and the multiple holes in the roof! Thank you for you TRUST and support! Thank you to my guys that continue to stick it out and get it done with me!💯🙌🏻🤙🏻☃️❄️🥶
