AKA The Satin or Silver Pothos

Price: $5

With beautiful silver blister variegation, these plants love to climb up a moss pole or wood plank . They can also be grown as a beautiful trailing plant .

This one loves bright indirect light and wants the soil to mostly dry out in between waterings. The leaves will curl when it is thirsty. More light will cause the new leaves to have more variegation .

Do not repot this plant right away as it has just been potted.

This syngonium has stunning pink variegation . More light = More pink

This one has been under a grow light , giving it these gorgeous half pink leaves . You can see there’s a “pup” at the base of the plant growing a whole second plant as well .

They prefer to be in bright light and watered only when the top 2 inches of soil dries out . Always feel your soil or test with a chopstick before watering . Underwatering will lead to brown crispy leaves , over watering will cause the leaves to droop as the roots rot .

Do not repot this plant for a while as it has been freshly repotted . When you give a plant a pot that is too big, the soil can’t dry out and the roots will rot .

Grade 3 chunky perlite. Perfect for your plants that want extra aeration and drainage.

Will be sifted before bagged but it is always recommended to rinse your perlite because the dust can create a clay- like buildup that kills your drainage

Tig’s Chunky Soil Mix For Houseplants

This small-batch soil is composed of :
Coco Coir
Coco Husk Chips
Chunky Perlite
Pumice
Worm Castings
Chunky & Fine Orchid Bark
Rice Hulls
Peat Moss
Vermiculite
Horticultural Charcoal

and hand mixed right here in Okeechobee. This mix is designed as a medium-chunky blend. It delivers aeration and drainage while retaining a moderate amount of moisture. The texture gives roots something to grip onto.

Perfect for plant parents who water slightly too often. Want to water more often ? Go for an even chunkier mix. Prefer less watering, or have a plant that throws a fit when thirsty? Go for something that holds more water. It's all about the ratios of ingredients.

I also do custom soil mixes so reach out to me with your plant needs and we can figure out the perfect blend for your plant type and plant care habits.

Meet the face of the company : Tig ! Tig is a one year old terrier mix that we rescued from Sarasota Animal Shelter back in November. What makes Tig special?
1. Tig has heterochromia ! He has one brown and and one blue eye. 👁️💙
2. Tig loves his big brother ! Despite what you may think , Tig and his big brother U*i are not genetically related . U*i is a four year old foxhound.
3. Tig loves people ! When we are out in public , Tig is not shy about soaking in the love while his brother hides behind mom 💗
4. Tig loves plant ! Ok sort of… Tig looks great in pictures with plants and his mom doesn’t love being on camera , making him the perfect face for the plant shop. He gets to strut his stuff for the camera and get love from anyone coming to buy plants. 📸🌱
