Lamb of the day! Single grey ram from Bluebonnet - this is the last of four ewes bred with Ichabod. The next four were with Amos, and should be due late May.

Single brown ewe from Petite Syrah! Excited to be getting deeper browns in the flock! I think we can say the ram curse has been broken on our farm.

This little hard-to-catch stinker was the final sheep shorn of the season! Plenty of raw fleece in hand if anyone's interested in processing their own!

Raw, skirted Shetland fleece available! I'm shearing early this year (yes, at 97°!!) We've several fleeces bagged up and ready to go!

Sheep are weathering the snow well. These ones still have half a round left but got some flakes to munch on.

Tractor is in Oklahoma Snowmageddon configuration! It'll likely need some time with a heat gun if it's needed this weekend before it'll start. Sheep have plenty of hay and some new windbreaks in addition to their regular shelter, and the house pipes are a insulated as I know how to make them. I think we're ready!
