Our marketing department said we shouldn't be posting photos of clogged pipes. So, here is a photo of our current project, a kitchen remodel.

The clients in this project are early risers with downstairs tenants, and they wanted to do something to mitigate sound transmission between the two living spaces. To accomplish this, we removed the subfloor, added mineral wool insulation (know in the trade as "sound attenuation batts" or "Roxul"), reinstalled the subfloor, laid down a sound dampening mat, laid down sleeper boards to create an air gap, and then added a second subfloor. On top of all this, we'll be laying down a beautiful cherry wood floor.
