Look at my latest treasure and maybe most treasured one i am adding to my Van Dyk collection
Nicholas Van Dyk at the helm of Van Dyk Coffee. This would be late 1800s ,I believe father to James VD who had all coffee stuff i have collected. I need to confirm, but pretty certain.

The Latest Van Dyk Nicholas Dutch

Here is a little history

Nicholas Van Dyk started the company in 1760 and it stayed functioning until around the 1940s when my grandfather passed in his 40s and my dad was only 7 and too young to take over. My great Uncle James Johnson was an actor and had no interest and my great Aunt Doris tried , but didn't have the business knowledge to keep it going, so what was left was sold off.
Fast forward to today in the past few years I started researching the family history and trying my hand at roasting. . so much to learn and try.

Meanwhile I love collecting family history pieces.
