What I learned without my phone for 48 hours. Simple. A lot… I hate it actually. A brutal truth I think we would all realize if we just left our phones home for one errand, one dinner, one trip.
Being tethered to a device isn’t the way we were meant to see this world. Always checking, anxious, responding in minutes or hours. It’s an invisible chain that steals from our day if we let it.
As a small business owner, it’s HARD not to. As I sit and type this caption, I can feel my blood pressure rise. Honestly. I have to be “present” in this space or I don’t get the clients, I don’t get the reach. But what it all showed me at the end of the day is that I am more present, less irritable, less stressed, and slower but more impactful in my days.
It boils down clearly boundaries and establishing routines and structure around my day. I’m grateful for the reality check and super grateful for the ability to break free like that.
What do these boundaries and routines look like for you so that you’re not stuck in the cycle? 👇
