I tore out my garden today but I made sure to leave this bell pepper out of my harvest. Shelldon here was really enjoying it, so he can have it!

Chicken and wild rice soup is currently in the crock pot! It will be the perfect supper for the rainy and cool fall day we are having!

This was easy enough to make!

Preheat your oven to 400°, put your bottom crust in your cast iron skillet, have it go up the sides. Put in your sauce and favorite pizza toppings. Put your cheese on top of the toppings, then your top crust on. Pinch the top and bottom crust together, put some slashes on the top and bake for about 25 minutes.

We did just a basic pepperoni. We will try this again, but with a different filling!

This is just the first of many hats I'm hoping to make over the next week!

I'm not sure if you saw, but Nebraska experienced some devastating flooding last week! Even right in my neighborhood, several families needed to be rescued from their homes by boat!

Our community is pulling together to help families in need. A lot of them lost almost everything! Today, I'm going to volunteer my time at a donation site, but I'm also making winter hats.

Temperatures are starting to fall, and I just want to do my small part to help keep someone warm while they navigate this difficult time. A hat may seem like a small thing, but when so many people are facing so much loss, I believe every little act of kindness matters. If we all do what we can, we can help our neighbors feel a little warmer, a little safer, and a little less alone. 🧡

This was so simple to make and very good! It's more like a goulash recipe I have been looking for!

-1 lb of ground beef
-1 onion
-1 bell pepper (not in the recipe, but I have so many I decided to add it)
Brown that all together in a pan and drain the grease. Then add
- 1 can of crushed tomatoes
-1 can of tomato sauce
-1 can of drained beans (your choice of what kind)
-1 can diced green chilies
- ≈ 1/2 C of macaroni (we think it could use just a little more maybe 3/4 C)
Mix together and bring to a boil. Turn the heat down to a simmer, cover for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Top with cheddar cheese or anything else you think would be good and serve!
