A custom window seat is one of the easiest ways to maximize space in a home.

This cozy reading nook is one of my favourite features from our award-winning custom home office.

Instead of leaving this wall empty, we transformed it into hidden storage, additional seating, and a quiet place to unwind. It’s proof that thoughtful space planning can completely change how a room feels and functions.

One of the biggest things I help clients with during a renovation is finding opportunities they never knew existed. Sometimes the best design solutions aren’t about adding more square footage—they’re about making every inch of your home work harder.

Award-Winning Custom Home Office

One of my favourite spaces from this project.

When designing this home office, the goal wasn’t just to create a beautiful room. It was to make every inch of the space work harder. From the floor-to-ceiling custom built-ins to the cozy window seat, everything was thoughtfully planned to maximize storage, improve functionality, and create a space that feels warm and inviting.

One of the biggest mistakes I see during renovations is not making the most of the space you already have. With thoughtful space planning and custom millwork, even one room can work so much better for your everyday life.

I love how this room feels equally suited for a productive workday or curling up with a good book.
