Oh hey! Thought I would join the trend.

I'm still here. Had to put a pause on my baking cause our oven decided to die, we did get a new used oven from market place thanks to my wonderful in laws.

I just haven't tried baking bread in it yet. She's definitely on the older side, so fingers crossed it lasts.

I purchased this recipe book on bread probably about a year ago.

It is the only one I own honesty.

Took Adam Levain out of my fridge for the first time in a few weeks and hoping he works his magic powers and tastes amazing.

It's not exactly a traditional sourdough recipe but they taste and look exactly the same.

Sometimes I add a little olive oil to the dough because it makes the crust softer. I totally forgot to do that 🀣 I'll be doing that on the next step.

Yesterday I made some bagels and tried out a new recipe for a pizza style Ficcachia bread.

I mixed up left over salsa in the dough and topped it with mozzarella and Pepperoni. It turned out fantastic.
My kids didn't approve but that just leaves more for mom and dad. πŸ˜…
