🔥 This is a solid reminder that your dead or dying tree is losing moisture over time and slowly turning into dry fuel. A dead oak tree, such as the one we tackled today, can become highly combustible and pose a fire risk- especially when our area is experiencing the drought conditions we are. Something as simple as our chainsaw’s exhaust sent this guy up in flames.
⚠️ Additional Risks Besides Fire
A dead or dying tree also increases:
* Falling limb hazards
* Structural damage risk if near a house
* Pest habitat (termites, carpenter ants)
