Look who’s available in the shop!🤭 I originally created this piece for a seminary project on James 2:14-26. As I prayed and researched and wrestled with the relationship between faith and works, this sweet weaving took form to show how living faith isn’t held inside or merely professed - it overflows from a faithful heart and blooms for all to see.

She’s 9” x 14”, has earth tone floral details, and is ready for a new home💛 DM for local delivery!

There is so much power in this little word.

I’ve taken a few months away from this space to heal from the heartbreak of miscarriage. Jesus has been so sweet and near to Randal and I each day, and it has been precious to lean on him as we navigate loss.

Our God is faithful, and we’re choosing to trust and worship Him as we wait for His redemption. (The full story is on my personal page if you want to read more.)

I know now what it’s like to rest in the “yet”. I know what it’s like to only have the groans of my heart to offer to the Lord in the waiting, to cry silent tears in my pillow, to feel my heart crack when I see others enjoying the season I long to walk.

But that’s the beauty of “yet”- it isn’t final. It isn’t complete. It isn’t finished. Our Father can and will do abundantly more than we can imagine in seasons of waiting and longing. And we can have confidence that His goodness and His promises won’t ever fail.

So let’s be people who praise Him in heartbreak, who cling to His word when everything around us is shaking, who lean into Him and turn our palms to the sky in surrender. He works all things together for the good of those who love Him, and He isn’t finished yet.

We may not know the ending, but we do know this: He has already won.

I pray that this Word will sink deep into the hearts of those who are waiting. Keep pressing in, friend. You are so loved.🖤

This custom beauty was commissioned by my sweet friend as a wedding gift for her sweet friend. She wanted something reminiscent of the beaches of Cabo, God’s goodness, and the blessing of two families becoming one through marriage. It all came together so beautifully🥹
