We have been working hard throughout this heatwave. Here are some progress pictures of the first phase of construction at Emerald Bay. Demolition, infrastructure, and grading is almost complete. It will start coming together very soon. It doesn't look like much now but trust the process. It is going to be beautiful.

We have uncovered irrigation valves and zones they didn't even know they had. The boulevard and planting beds have not been getting water for years. We will revamp the system and add to it to make it low maintenance and hassle free. Next year this whole area will be lush and green with splashes of color.

Next week, we will build the natural stone borders/walls to add some formality. Then it'll be lights, plants, action! Stay tuned for before and after pictures of this awesome transformation.

Emerald Bay is about to get lit. Low voltage LED landscape lighting is a game changer. It’s efficient and very effective. The subtle lights bring out the surrounding structures and the different textures of the plants. It turns the area into a whole new world at night.

I’ve always had an interest in lighting. It is one of my favorite aspects in the landscape. Mom used to tell me to think about the lighting when you draw. I went to college for electrical mechanics when I was young, but never utilized it. Now, I get to connect the two in the projects we build.

It’s going down. Emerald Bay is getting a facelift! This is the skeletal plan along with just a couple concept designs out of the twenty I made

We are going to start at the top and work our way south. New hardscape, tons of plants, irrigation revamp, LED lighting, and new finishes everywhere. Watch the transformation of the entrance area when you drive down HH. It’s going to be beautiful when we are done.
