Memorial Day Weekend is here, ❤️🤍💙and we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice and gave EVERYTHING for our Us.

Freedom is something many of us experience every day through the simple moments. Family cookouts, relaxing in the backyard, kids playing outside, and time spent together with the people we love most. Those moments are possible because of the courage and sacrifice of our fallen heroes.

At M & M Outdoor Design + Hardscaping, we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to help families create outdoor spaces where memories are made, laughter is shared, graduations are celebrated, and loved ones gather together. Today, on behalf of all of us at M&M Outdoor Design & Hardscaping, I just want to take a moment to honor the incredible mothers out there.

Over the many years of working with families and creating outdoor spaces, one thing I’ve noticed time and time again is this… moms truly are the heart of the home. ❤️

They are the planners, the comforters, the memory makers, the ones who turn a house into a home and a backyard into a place where families gather, laugh, celebrate, and grow together. So many of the projects we’ve built over the years started with a mother’s vision wanting a beautiful space for her children, her family, and the people she loves most. That kind of love is something special.

This Mother’s Day is especially emotional for me and my family after the recent passing of my mother, Mariam. Losing her has reminded me even more how powerful a mother’s love truly is. Her strength, faith, kindness, and support helped shape not only who I am as a man, but also the heart behind M&M.

To all the mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, and mother figures out there thank you for the love, sacrifice, patience, and warmth you pour into your families every single day, even when it goes unnoticed. The world is better because of you.

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my mother, Mariam, on March 26th.

She was a woman of deep faith, love, and strength, and one of the biggest supporters behind everything we’ve built at M & M Outdoor Design and Hardscaping. She was especially proud that the business carries the names of two of her beloved grandsons, my sons, Mauricio and Marcelino.

While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in God’s promise:
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18
