The cause of a “no heat” call was a cheap service switch that can be purchased for less than a buck. I only install the heavy duty version on heating systems that only costs $4 more. Unfortunately the customer had already spent hundreds on other parts before I came and diagnosed the source of the problem. Sometimes spending a little more up front can save a lot in the longrun. If you want to try fixing it yourself first, buy a multimeter and learn how to use it first.

Before and after pictures… as some of you may know, I have taken a day job that provides me and my family with great benefits and a regular paycheck where previously, it was feast or famine because all too often I underbid big jobs and essentially worked for free. Since then, I dropped refrigeration and A/C service and installations, dropped whole house projects and now focus on emergencies, maintenance and small jobs. Fall and winter is so busy with just emergencies that I will only schedule maintenance and other non-emergency work in the spring and summer. Please don’t call me M-F 7:00am-3:30pm. Texting is ok 24/7. I got a text last night at midnight as I was finishing up this job and was able to get there at 1:00 am to troubleshoot a plumbing issue. ✌️
