I started out the way most contractors did- working as an employee. My first employer taught me the importance of prep work and teamwork, as I spent most of my time doing prep, and ensuring the 'finisher' I was working with had everything they would need to maximize production. My second employer taught me the value of understanding the overall mission and the value of knowing how to adapt to maxi

mize efficiency. Almost every job will begin with one game plan in mind, and finish with a version thereof. I look forward to working with the many of you whom have a refinishing vision which you wish to bring to fruition.

The most common cause of paint failure on a horizontal surface (short of failing to maintain an adequately sealed substrate), is excessive moisture in the wood prior to coating application, typically a result of inadequate dry time post-pressure washing.

Some 5+ gallons went down on this floor in 3 coats: the first two were sprayed and backbrushed to seal the wood pores. The third was sprayed, acting as a protective barrier.

Done in Woodluxe (formerly Arborcoat) in a Solid Body Stain.
