We are looking for artists that can write a 300 to 700 word story about their own experiences (agonizing or not) of the following categories. Humorous if you are up for it. We know you can do it...

FLOW - is all about movement—how the eye travels across your piece.

HONESTY - is hard. It’s hard in relationships, and it’s especially hard in art. Why? Because being honest in your artwork means telling the truth about you.

OVERWORKED - refers to a piece that has lost its initial freshness and energy due to excessive detail and/or revisions,

TALK - refers to an artist's presentation or discussion of their work, often during an exhibition or event,

SERENDIPITY - . It’s the unexpected brushstroke that transforms a mediocre painting into a masterpiece

Those that are selected to be published in our book can include a photo of any related artwork. Artwork Specs: 300 dpi, no more than 25 mg. 5 x 4 inches.

All published works will include any emails, websites and contact info in the book.

Chicago Skyline painted on a concrete wall. All of this had to be sprayed because of the texture of the wall. (Lots of holes in the concrete surface.)
