In Living Color!!
Dream Job 2.0! I was asked to green up this space. It was a tight time frame, tight planting spaces (14-16 inches), so it had to be TIGHT!! For those who don’t know…In the 1990s, “tight” was popular slang for something “cool,” “awesome,” or “excellent”. It often described good music, fashion, or a positive vibe. It was frequently used alongside terms like “phat,” “da bomb,” “dope,” or “fly” to describe high-quality things or experiences.
I’m fully satisfied with my work, just wish the day I went to photograph these babes wasn’t overcast! The blue cacti (pilosocereus pachycladus) pop off the white brick wall. I love the clean clumping formation of the euphorbia. The smooth clean lines of the shark skin agaves with their matte green leaves make my heart sing and the addition of the Yucca Rostrata at the beginning of the walk way sets the tone of all the spectacular specimens!! I topped dressed the collection with Chamois Beige gravel.
I’d say it’s tight and right!! As always, made with love and joy!! Thanks Jess, I love greening up your space!!
