Painting is often seen as a decorative service when it plays a much bigger role. It protects the surfaces and is one of the final steps that brings a project together.

Previously covered in wallpaper, this bathroom needed more than a simple repaint. Once the wallpaper was removed, the walls required proper prep and repair before any paint could be applied. With the right preparation, we were able to smooth out the surface and create a seamless finish.

What’s the difference between refinishing and replacing your front door?

Replacing means starting over with a new door. Refinishing focuses on restoring what is already there by cleaning, sanding, repairing, staining, and protecting the existing wood.

In many cases, refinishing can be the more cost effective option, especially when the door is well made, original to the home, or has details worth preserving. However, every door is different. This custom-made 8-foot mahogany front door was carefully matched to the home’s trim, corbels, and gutters for a cohesive finish. Prepped, stained, and installed with care, every detail was considered to complement the home’s exterior. The result is a beautiful black front door with depth and visible grain, keeping the finish feeling sleek while still showcasing the natural beauty of the wood.

Using Benjamin Moore Woodluxe Semi-Solid in Black helped bring out the richness and natural detail of the wood grain, allowing the depth and character of the mahogany to fully show through before the final finish is applied.

Resin epoxy flooring with grey specks for this garage in Los Altos.

A gray gloss epoxy applied with paint chips, followed by a clear gloss topcoat for added durability, enhanced protection, and easier long term maintenance. The clear finish creates a seamless surface that resists tire marks, stains, and daily wear, making cleanup quick and straightforward.

An exterior repaint for this century old home.

The homeowner of this 1915 residence wanted to care for it properly. Projects like this require more than a fresh coat of paint. The level of preparation, protection, and attention to detail that an older home deserves. Thorough surface preparation to a carefully executed finish, every step was taken with longevity in mind. We finished it off with a coat of Bachelor Blue 1629 by Benjamin Moore.

This deck was looking extremely dark and nearly black in appearance due to weather and dirty accumulation. After the right cleaning and preparation, followed by applying 3 coats of Outdoor Defense Oil, the wood grain looks brand new again, revealing the rich, vibrant brown tones that make ipe so sought after.
