Great progress happening at Harvest Church!

Did you know Florida's building codes have been shaped by hard lessons from our own backyard? After Hurricane Andrew in 1992, everything changed statewide. Then Hurricane Michael hit the Panhandle in 2018, and the codes got even stronger with higher wind-speed standards, better roof-attachment requirements, and stricter waterproofing rules to prevent water intrusion. Here in Panama City, we lived through Hurricane Michael and got to work helping our community rebuild, including the municipal buildings for the City of Lynn Haven and multiple buildings for Bay District Schools. Strong codes and thoughtful design don't just make beautiful spaces. They help communities come back stronger. That's what we mean when we say we're Designing Smarter, Safer, Stronger. 💙

Congratulations to Girls Inc. of Bay County on receiving a donation from the proceeds of our PCB Chamber Bowling Tournament, presented by Panama City Toyota! A special thank you to Florida Architects for generously contributing their portion of the 50/50 raffle to support this donation.👏

We appreciate everyone who participated and helped make this event a success!🎳💙 Did you know that 17,000 girls have benefited over the years through Girls Inc. - roughly 400 girls a year!

🌿 Exciting news in Panama City! The Garden Club has officially celebrated its soft opening in its brand-new building.

Florida Architects is honored to have designed this space and to have worked alongside so many talented vendors, consultants, and community partners to bring this vision to life.

After Hurricane Michael destroyed the original building in 2018, this project became more than design — it was about resilience, community, and creating a space where future generations can gather and grow.

We’re proud to have played a part in rebuilding such an important landmark for Panama City.

The Panama City community got a first look at a restored piece of the city's history today. Rich with history, the Panama City Garden Club dates back to 1935.
