Hopefully everyone has had a beautiful Saturday so far. 🌱

Up next for sale: 2 monstera deliciosa. Both came from my mother plant. They were separated many months ago, repotted (in my own mix, of course), and were given wooden planks for support and to climb.

Monstera deliciosa are one of the most sought after houseplants. Understandably so, when you see those large leaves with splits and holes! Maturity, size, fenestrations, holes, and variegation all contribute to their pricing. A small rooted cutting can cost anywhere from $10-$25, young potted plant: $25-$60, mature plant: $75-$150, and very mature, large forms can cost $150-$300+. Variegated versions, such as the Thai constellation, only add additional value. Large forms of Thai constellations can sell for as much as $1,000-$2,500+. (Coming soon by the way; they are busy growing 🙂‍↕️)

Check out these two, prices are added below pictures. While they are obviously so very pretty, they are also one of the easiest plants to care for. Give them a bright corner in your home with regular watering and fertilizing then they will be happy to be there with you. Message me or comment if interested.

Split Leaf Philodendrons for Sale! 🌱

I have 4 split leaf philodendrons for sale. All 4 came from my own split leaf philo. They were separated from the mother plant, planted in my own soil mix, and have been hanging out outback. All 4 philos are shooting out new growth and are ready to make a great pop of tropical, greenery inside someone’s house, porch/patio, or yard.

About a year and a half ago, I started developing an interest for houseplants; the attractive greenery, the excitement of watching them grow, and the peacefulness caring for houseplants brings. I knew that once I had a space large enough, I wanted an indoor jungle. Not only did I want one, I wanted to be able to share it…

Over the course of the last year, I have drastically expanded my knowledge around houseplants, as well as, my own collection. While nurturing and caring for my plants, developing bonds with other plant lovers, and realizing the mental break it brings from the (it seems) never ending chaos we live in…I found a fiery passion. A passion I want to build upon, share, and bring people together with.

Months and months of brainstorming combined with my new found passion, The Lush Canopy was born. The Lush Canopy is an online houseplant store. My ever changing taste in plants means I have lots to sell. In addition, I propagate my own plants as they outgrow their space. These propagations are repotted and will also be for sell. There will be giveaways and (in the near future) plant accessories for sell. Plant accessories include some of my favorite products I use with my own plants; nursery pots, decorative pots, propagation friends, etc. Expect weekly informational videos, tips and tricks, plant spotlights, and recommendations for products that everyone should know about!

Growing plants is a journey, there is no end result. There are ups and downs, wins and losses, and things simply out of our control. It’s important to be open about it all. That there is not a specific way to grow plants and while, yes, they are pretty…there is also the bad and ugly! It’s also okay to make mistakes. It’s how we learn and grow. Transparency about it can alter another person’s perception of the plant hobby. I know it did for me. Wondering why my plants were dying and trying to diagnose every yellow or black leaf caused a lot of discouragement. Until, I found all the resources that led my plants to healthier lives and an explosion of growth.

The Lush Canopy is here to be those resources. Everyone should be able to care for houseplants and enjoy the beauty they bring no matter their experience. That is what The Lush Canopy is about.
