Tip of the Day…

Wash siding

While it might be tempting to use a pressure washer for your home’s exterior, a garden hose is recommended to avoid potentially damaging the outside of your home or having water get under the siding. Apply a coat of fresh paint if needed and repair any damaged vinyl or aluminum siding.

Tip of the Day…

Today’s tip is just a Happy Home Owner Adaptive Reuse idea. It works, and you don’t have to give Home Depot any more of your money than necessary.

Instead of buying the disposable or another small paint tray, try this…

Take your empty gallon milk jug and cut out the front of it. Using the handle already in place, pour your paint in the jug and away you go. The milk jug makes the perfect paint tray.

Tip of the Day…

If you have faux wood blinds and need to wash them. Pull those babies down, and submerge in the tub for 15 minutes in hot water and of course Dawn Dish Soap. After they have soaked extend them open and close to one side. Spray the side and brush is necessary. Then open and close to expose the other side. Spray and or brush again. Now to make your house smell amazing, dip the blinds into a tub of Pine Sol and water.
