Friends and family I have really awesome news that i'm hoping you'll pass along and show your kids to indoctrinate them in science!!

This summer, I was reached out to my an Emmy nominated FOX syndicate show called Awesome Planet hosted by Jacques Cousteau's grandson Philippe Cousteau Jr. A UPenn media specialist gave them my info when they reached out to her asking about researchers at UPenn with a big outreach emphasis. She felt my wind tunnel work would be great for their Science Communicators episode since it was such a community involved undertaking with high school students joining in every step of the way collecting the data and readying the facility. We filmed at the wind tunnel, on the dunes at my main field site in NJ, and on campus on August 24th. I've just been given word that the show will air this Saturday December 1 nationwide and the show will then be posted to Amazon Prime next week.

I am told that I will be in the latter part of the episode, but have not seen it and am nervous and excited! Thought i'd pass the info along to share with young family members so you can tell them you know the goofball who in some shots will likely look Steve Irwin-esque and in others may be in neon.
