✨ Sourdough Fudge Rounds! ✨

Take 1!!!

I've been working on recreating one of my favorite childhood snack cakesthe classic fudge round but with a sourdough twist!

This first test batch features soft, chocolatey sourdough cookies sandwiched around a rich fudge filling. Are they perfect yet? Not quite. But they're definitely headed in the right direction, and that's half the fun!

One thing I love about baking is taking those nostalgic treats we grew up with and transforming them into something homemade, wholesome, and uniquely ours. Sometimes it takes a few rounds of testing, tweaking, and taste-testing (the best part 😉) to get them just right.

So here's to Take 1! Stay tuned because I'm determined to perfect this childhood staple snack cake. And if these test batches are any indication, the final version is going to be worth the wait. ❤️🍫
