While Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow in Pennsylvania, we here in Florida are embracing the arrival of spring. We are now accepting bookings for our 2025 bi-weekly schedule. We also offer services such as leaf removal, gutter cleaning, revitalizing mulch in flower beds, tree trimming, pressure washing, palm trimming, and debris removal. Wait a couple of months & then give us a call for fertilizing. But go ahead and call us now to get on the mowing schedule. The grass is growing!!

With our warmer weather, homeowners are ready for activity; however, it is not time to fertilizer turfgrass. It is still way too early for turf roots to be ready to take up the fertilizer. Fertilizer that is not absorbed has great potential to leave the lawn site and since we are surrounded by water, end up there. Spend time on other landscape cleanup and planting and wait until mid April or later for lawn fertilization. If your fertilizer money is burning a hole in your pocket, you can always drop it off at Escambia Extension as a donation to one of our gardening projects.

It’s that time of the year when folks make some room for all the new goodies they are going to receive for Christmas. And when that happens, we tend to find more stuff that needs to be disposed. Let Castle haul it all away for you. We have this 6x16 high wall trailer that can probably handle it all for you. We typically charge $250 for a full load up to 4,000 lbs. pricing may vary, depending on what is being disposed. Tires are an extra $5 ea. Hauling & disposing of roofing shingles, dirt & concrete will have additional charges, as well. Whatever your hauling needs, more than likely we can handle it.
