A lil work I️ did for my sister, at my parents rental apartment.

Trust the process!
Started out a dented, stained, tarnished floor. After one rough pass of 36 grit sand paper, and 4 gruesome hours later, most of the dents came out.
Stains were harder, I️ had to work through them out, passing the sander over and over them again careful not to make a indention in the floor. Over a hour of working out those spots, they came out.
Now came smoothening; 60 grit twice over, another hour later.
Now what I️ like to call the “baby’s bottom”, 120 grit, twice over, most of the hard work had been done already 30 mins later.
Bam I️ had a sandy mess (and I️ swept each time I️ went over)
Grabbed the wax rags and on hands and knees went over every inch of the floor getting up all the dust.
It won’t look like much to you after “wipe down and cleaning” but to me I️ had dedicated almost 7 hours into this already.
Now came the finishing, the polyethylene.

The whole time all I️ can think of is what shape we come to God in and how much time and dedication he put into “fixing us”. Taking his time, pouring into us. It took me hours but God will spend years working on us, loving us the entire time. Patiently, skillfully working it all out.
