🚿 Project Update 🚿

We’re about 90% complete on this beautiful zero-entry shower for our first collaboration with Upper Mit Development — and this one is really coming together.

The shower floor features the Peach Cala Eclipse marble mosaic from Viviano, which extends seamlessly out into the main bathroom floor for a true curbless transition. Paired with Villa’s variated green Laurel Fern 2½”x9½” subway tile in a horizontal stack pattern, the space has a soft, natural warmth that feels both elevated and calming.

We’ve also carried that same wall tile throughout the bathroom as a full wainscoting to tie everything together — but we’re currently waiting on the custom vanity to arrive before completing those final tile returns and trim-out details.

Once the vanity is in, we’ll be back to wrap up the wainscoting and bring everything across the finish line.

We’re excited to begin our first installation with Upper Mit Development — a zero-entry shower system where the bathroom floor flows seamlessly into the shower, creating one continuous surface from dry area to wet with no curb and no visual interruption.

The floor will feature Peach Cala Eclipse marble mosaic from Viviano, bringing soft natural warmth and movement into the space. This marble will extend directly into the shower floor to maintain a clean, open transition throughout the room.

The shower walls — along with a full wainscoting wrap around the entire bathroom — will be finished in Laurel Fern 2½"×9½" variated green subway tile from Villa, installed in a horizontal stack pattern for a modern, calming aesthetic.

Over the last three weeks, we’ve been hard at work alongside Harbor Design Center bringing multiple bathroom spaces to life.

🐾 Throwback Thursday 🐾

Today I’m thinking about Luka — the dog I named my company after, and one of the greatest teachers I’ve ever had.

She was fiercely loyal, incredibly intelligent, and was alway ready to learn aomwthing new. Wherever I went, she was right there beside me. Steady. Present. Always ready.

Even though I lost her five years ago, I still carry her with me every day — in the way I work, the standards I hold, and the pride I take in doing things right. Everything she embodied — loyalty, patience, discipline, and heart — is the foundation I continue to build this company on.

She wasn’t just my dog. She was my partner, my motivation, and my reminder to always show up fully.

Forever proud of you, Luka. 🐾

There’s a lot of intention behind work that looks simple.

This project features Carrara marble throughout, spanning roughly 310 square feet across two main areas. The foyer — including the coat closet and powder room — and the garage entry — flowing through the hallway to the kitchen, pantry, and laundry room — were designed to feel cohesive while still clearly defined.

Each space is encased with custom cut 6"x12" Carrara marble border tiles, framing the rooms and creating clean transitions. The centers are Carrara marble flagstone set from 40"x40" sheets, laid out carefully to keep the pattern organic and balanced without feeling busy.

To tie it all together, the master bath floor received an additional 60 square feet of 3"x12" Carrara marble set in a herringbone pattern, adding a subtle shift in texture while keeping the material palette consistent throughout the home.

Natural stone, thoughtful layout, and details that reward patience. This one came together exactly how it was meant to.

Here’s a sneak peek at a new project I started this week!

I’m working on a front entry and a rear entry with an attached laundry room, and we’re giving these spaces a full Carrara marble upgrade. What you’re seeing in the photo is the early layout stage:

• Carrara marble border around the perimeter — each piece cut down into clean 6"x12" strips for a custom frame.
• Carrara flagstone in the center — every piece individually set and shaped to flow naturally while still keeping tight, intentional joints.

This combination brings a really high-end, handcrafted look to the space. Once everything is set and grouted, the contrast between the smooth border and the organic flagstone texture is going to look incredible.

More to come as this one starts taking shape — can’t wait to show the finished result!

✨ Project Update! ✨
This week I’ve been transforming what used to be a standard 3x5 tub space into a fully custom walk-in shower. We went with decorative blue 2½x8" subway tiles with unique patterns that make every wall pop, and the centerpiece of the niche features hand-cut, sanded, and polished Lake Superior agates — each one placed and polished by hand for a one-of-a-kind touch.

The bench top and curb are solid quartz, perfectly matched to the vanity top for a clean, cohesive look. Both the shower floor and ceiling feature warm gray 2x2 tiles with a linear drain, tying seamlessly into the 6x24 format gray tiles on the main floor.

Grouting happens tomorrow — can’t wait to see it all come together!

Another one wrapped up!
Just finished grouting and caulking this beautiful shower I’ve been working on — 4x12 subway tile walls, a porcelain basket weave shower floor, and Corian for the door jamb and curb top. Everything came together clean and tight, just how I like it.

Big thanks to everyone following along as this one took shape — from setting the floor to the final touches today. Always satisfying seeing the finished product shine.

🚿 Wrapping up another beautiful bathroom addition!
I just finished setting the shower floor, which means all the tile work inside the shower is complete. Tomorrow I’ll be grouting and installing a few floating corner shelves to finish it off.

This one features 4x12 subway tile on the walls, a porcelain basket weave floor, and Corian details for the door jamb and curb top — clean, timeless, and built to last.
