The perfect balance of old and new, great design and a desire to preserve history all at once. That’s what creates this really freaking dapper library!! The history of this home is so beautiful. We leaned into that for this particular space of the home. We ultimately decided to keep the beautiful mahogany panels and millwork in the space (versus painting) and it truly brings an elevated feeling of charm to the space. Effortlessly paired with a vintage oxblood chesterfield sofa, ultra modern brass lamps, jade gemstone side tables, a family heirloom rug- just to name a few…I mean, come on! This offering is perfect for those who may not be ready for a full-service project but would love professional guidance to move their home in the right direction.

We love this transformation! Stay tuned for photos from a real shoot, but for now iPhone pics will suffice. Either way the before and after is incredible. Our challenge was to create a space that felt sophisticated, unique and a little swanky for a cocktail or two with friends after a day on the golf course…BUT also needed to accommodate at least eight to ten people for the occasional large family gatherings. We started with this awkward knee wall that you walked right into from the entry of the home- we got rid of that to make the space feel much more open and intentional, along with many other beautiful design decisions. Now you walk into this space and the room says “I’ll be right over with the coldest dirtiest martini “🍸That’s a win. Thanks to our amazing repeat clients that always trust our vision from beginning to end!!!

We take so much pride in everything that we do and I am so grateful to every single one of our clients who put all of their trust in us with their projects. Five years ago is when I decided to make the switch and do this on my own. I didn’t know where it would take me, but I am beyond grateful for everything that has taken place in my design career in the past five years since LNID was created. We’ve made lasting relationships with amazing clients, colleagues, partners and I wouldn’t be able to do any of it without them all. I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and when you put it out into the universe it finds you. Each year just gets more and more exciting. I can’t wait to see what the next five years brings.
