Second story pool deck summer vibes alert. Vibrant colors, long runs of LED lights, and shade structures make this deck a whole lot of fun the warm months. The Americana was a significant project for us. We started a working relationship with and brought this project to life as we assisted Urban Intent with the design process. We provided materials—soup to nuts—for this project. Street trees, porcelain pavers on pedestals, glass guardrails with LED lights, planters fabricated by Urban Jungle, a motorized pergola, shrubs, and herbaceous flowering plants.

This is what happens when architecture, landscape and craft come together. At One Frankford, we created a public space using corten steel panels on a sloped site using curved edges to navigate the level changes. This is the kind of garden that encourages one to linger and enjoy the flowering trees, compact shrubs, perennials, and the winter hardy colors of the cold tolerant plants.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and we are doing our part to make our clients’ homes festive and bright. Evergreens, twigs, berries, and pods add the right amount of seasonal beauty to any building. Truly, a little green adds a lot of magic to the neighborhood. Go ahead, share the joy!

Behind the scenes at Monday’s maintenance visit 🌿

Introducing one of the happiest UJ living walls out there! As you can see, this plant wall is absolutely thriving with all of the natural sunlight it receives from East-facing floor to ceiling windows.

Years ago, our team customized this wall to fit within the timber frame to add a burst of vegetation to the custom charm of the home. We visited earlier this week for routine maintenance and stewardship, and had to share these before and after photos of the walls’ haircut!
