Cutting-in btw the ceiling and the wall is easy if the walls and ceilings are perfect (straight, no dents). It becomes challenging when you have imperfections such as, dents, lumps, cracks, etc… because the painter then has to become a magician and make it appear straight, by most likely adding some paint to the ceiling, slightly, to give the effect that it’s a straight line from a far.

Most of the ceilings I cut-in are imperfect, so when painters brag about free handing and not using tape, give us our flowers. It ain’t easy 💪🏾🎨 🪄

On this day 2 years ago, I decided to turn one of my passions into a business and what a journey it has been. I am so grateful to all of the people who have trusted my talent and allowed me into their homes. I’d be lying if I said this was not a challenging year. I’ve thought about giving up on painting so many times and honestly, I’m still not sure how long I’ll continue on with it. However, today is still a day that I’ll celebrate all of the hard work, sacrifices, joy, sweat and tears I put into Pretty BEYsic Painting, because entrepreneurship is truly NOT for the weak. I cherish all of the relationships I’ve made throughout this journey and hope to make many more. So, today I say THANK YOU to all of my supporters, family and friends for being apart of my story. I could not have done this without you all 💕
