FYI...This Saturday, April 4th from 830-2pm. There is a Household Hazardous Waste event at BCCC - Bucks Community College - Newtown, PA. Rain or shine.

This is the perfect opportunity for you to safely recycle and dispose your household hazardous waste 💥

You're probably asking...What the heck do I do with old Latex Paint❓️🤔

Latex paint is considered Municipal Waste and can simply be put in your regular trash once throughly dried. Kitty litter is an option for drying it out but it is costly and heavy. I suggest purchasing paint hardener online or letting it dry out naturally. Feel free to call or text me for any advice 267-987-5512

Mel's Painting no longer offers " Paint Pick Up" services.

In our area, Municipal Waste can not legally be transported without appropriate licensing and permits which is extremely expensive for paint disposal. I tried!
However, we are allowed to offer "in home" disposal if interested.

Be very cautious hiring anyone for old "Paint Pick Up" disposal services. If you do, please make sure they are licensed, and insured with the proper permits because every can of paint can be traced back to you ‼️

Do you have old paint cans to dispose of?

PAINT PICK UP by Mel's Painting LLC is now offering LATEX paint disposal‼️

Over the years, many of my customers have asked "How do I get rid of old latex paint that I no longer need?"

Most of them tried drying it out with kitty litter and sawdust with minimal success. Some took the lids off of the cans to dry it out and had their pets get into it. Not good 😐

The majority of them just wanted their storage space back but the hassle of drying out leftover paint was too much of a headache.

LATEX paints are ordinarily no longer accepted at local Household Hazardous Waste events, traditional methods of drying them out are ineffective AND it is illegal to dispose of "wet" paint cans in regular household trash.

There is a SOLUTION to your PROBLEM‼️

Mel's Painting LLC has a proven system to harden LATEX paints and dispose of properly.

We offer two levels of service:

1. In Home PAINT PICK UP
- starting at $150 + can fees

2. Driveway PAINT PICK UP
- starting at $75 + can fees

$10 per gallon
$5 per quart or smaller
