I have been running a class called Tunes for Tots at Norcom Community Center in the Far NE for several years. It has a "mommy and me" type setting with one session each week for four weeks. I play guitar and the children get to try out all kinds of musical instruments and fun props. I also work in the Philadelphia School District as a Supportive Service Assistant in the kindergarten. I have been d

oing that for 12 years so I feel I know what children like. I play many traditional children's songs and several of my own songs to add to the mix. In the busy world we live in, it is so important for parents (or another close adult) and children to connect in a meaningful way, especially when they are very young. Music seems to bring all ages together and it makes everyone smile! I DO PARTIES AND OTHER CHILDREN"S FUNCTIONS
