🌱 5 Fall Fertilization Tips for a Healthy Lawn

1. Time It Right
Apply fertilizer in early fall when soil temperatures remain warm, but air temperatures start to cool, facilitating the grass's recovery from summer stress.
2. Utilize a Slow-Release Fertilizer
Products like MESA or UFLEXX provide consistent nourishment and minimize nitrogen loss, ensuring lawns remain greener longer into winter.
3. Combine with Core Aeration and Overseeding
Aeration alleviates compacted soil, while overseeding introduces new, disease-resistant turf varieties that thrive throughout fall and the following spring.
4. Don't Overlook W**d Control
Broadleaf w**ds like clover and dandelion remain active. Fall applications of Nufarm herbicides eliminate them before they become dormant.
5. Water Judiciously
