Welcome to our Sensational SIXTH Spring Issue of River Towns!

You’ll discover countless ways to enjoy the best of the River Towns this spring season, from events you’ll find nowhere in the world but here, like ArtYard’s Hatch Festival in Frenchtown and Lambertville’s Shad Fest blowout, to Phillips’ Mill’s much-anticipated annual Photographic Exhibition and PrideFest, one of the best Pride celebrations in the U.S.A. 🏳️‍🌈

You’ll meet extraordinarily talented River Towners, like master woodturner Mark Sfirri, and Liz Patrick, gracing our cover with her daughter, Ellen. Together they turned their ordinary farmhouse in Pipersville into a breathtaking homage to ancient stone and modern elegance. And Donna Schaal whose life and farm are dedicated to rescuing horses.

With all the talk about celebrities moving in we decided it was time to take a deep dive into the changing face of New Hope. Is the soaring price of real estate, luxury development and national attention a good thing, a bad thing, or something in between? You may be surprised at what writer Bill Stieg heard from locals.

To love the River Towns life is to know it, and live it. Let’s do it, together!

We would like to say thank you to The New York Times for including some of our projects in their article about Bucks County including Ferry Market, The Logan Inn, and Farley's Bookshop. Farley’s has been in New Hope for decades and we are glad to have worked with Modern Recycled Spaces to bring this beloved local business back to life with a revitalization of the building.
