Woke up to a total mess in your yard this morning? 🐗🌵
If you see shredded plants and stalks thrown all over your driveway or sidewalk, you can blame the neighborhood javelinas! They love to roam around at night looking for a snack, and right now, they are obsessed with ripping down the tall flower stalks on Red Yuccas.
Once they find them, they’ll completely tear up the plant to get to the juicy buds.
Here’s a quick tip to save your yard: Cut those vertical flower stalks down as soon as they start growing! If you take away their favorite nighttime treat, they’ll usually just walk right past your yuccas without making a mess.
