We are deeply saddened by the news of the death of an air conditioning technician yesterday. Our prayers go out to his family. This is a rough time of year in Arizona with the intense attic temperatures. We actively talk with our technicians about spending short amounts of time in the attic, hydration, and warning signs of heat exhaustion.

The cause of the man's death has not yet been determined, the Phoenix Fire Department says.
