Seems like I’m always showing new customers the electrician before me didn’t do the job correctly. Can clearly see the wire going to the breaker marked garage sub feed is the incorrect wire. Red,black and bare but no white wire as required by NEC code for a sub panel

Replaced a bad underground line to a timeclock and added another line to an outside seating area. Bonus points for the existing indoor time clock that is still functioning after having a new gfci protected circuit installed lol. If it ain’t broken don’t fix it 😎

So I found this today. 12 rated for 20 amps on a 30 amp feed from generator. Told homeowner we may want to fix this because it will take the fire trucks a little longer to respond to the fire this can cause during power outages. Lol
