All they needed was a little rain after spreading some of our compost litter, and look at them now!! Waiting for them to finish going into seed so we can harvest the seeds and prep for this year's planting!

I cut my greens down after I did the last picking for the year. But I didn't tiller them up simply for the fact that I wanted seeds from them so I could plant more this year. Here we are people, even after the terrible snow and ice we received, my greens survived and have started to go into seed! As we begin to prep this year's garden, we will be spreading what I like to call "Compost Litter", because it's yard waste mixed with chicken litter. We will be spreading some into the garden and also onto the rye grass plot that we planted. The field is gonna be so pretty this year!!

We've came a long ways from where we started!😊

As of right now, we are up to 19 wheel barrow loads of 2nd shred material! That's a total amount of 4.75 cubic yards, or 57 cubic feet! We have 20 more loads to shred before we end up with our final total amount for this Batch! We will have that total by the end of this weekend!😊
