My heart hurts for the Ukrainian people. My husband has Eastern European roots, with family
in a neighboring country of Ukraine. So with a heavy heart, I took up my brush and prayed as I painted. The Ukraine national flower is a Sunflower and the blue and yellow represents the flag. Below is a series I created that represents their courage and pride as a country. Message me if you are interested in purchasing and proceeds will go to aiding refugees.

Took a class today on a fun technique for watercolor. Loved learning about texture. Texture gives the painting such depth. Might be a new favorite option to use.
