Just a few more weeks until our Cowboy Perennial Peanut plants are ready for their new homes.

Developed by Dr. Wayne Hanna at UGA Tifton, Cowboy Perennial Peanut was bred to be a low-maintenance alternative to turfgrass.

Drought-tolerant, nitrogen-fixing that naturally improves soils, pollinator-friendly yellow blooms, and requires little to no fertilizer once established, Cowboy Perennial Peanut was designed for the South.

We have limited availability for our June release, so message or give us a call if you have questions!

Greenhouse repairs from Hurricane Helene are complete, and USDA inspection has been passed!

We’re moving in and up-potting citrus trees in one end of the greenhouse and moving and painting plant tables in the other.

We cannot wait to see waves of green fill the house 🌱

2026 UGA Southeastern Specialty Crop Technology Conference 🌱🐾

Our visit to UGA Tifton Campus earlier this week was an enlightening one. It’s amazing to see how far agriculture technology has come!

Here are a few clips from the in-field demonstrations. Thank you to and .agro for organizing this event. Go Dawgs!

Let’s talk about rootstock 🌱

Rootstock is the root system and lower trunk of a plant that another variety is grafted onto. From tree size to long-term yield, the right rootstock makes a difference, and strong trees start with the right foundation.

We have five varieties of rootstock that are currently growing in the greenhouse:

🌱Flying Dragon - keeps trees small and great for high density plantings
🌱Rich 16-6 - pushes strong growth and early production
🌱Rubidoux - balanced, reliable, handles tougher soil conditions
🌱US-812 - medium-sized trees with disease resistance and tolerance
🌱US-942 - semi-dwarf size and cold hardy

We’re ramping up our rootstock seeding to support future citrus budwood schedules and adding a few new plant varieties along the way!
