She supervised a few projects, got worn out and snuggled down in her bed, lol

Sometimes the job is just not something we would even try to tackle.
Thank goodness the folks at Bee Control Pittsburgh were able to eliminate a nest of wasps for us today!
We hear that stinging insects are out in full force this season. Just like in home renovation, know when to call the professionals!

It's the details that make a difference!
The flip might be taking longer than we had hoped, but that's ok, it's going to be amazing when finished.

The photos here show how just a little extra work can make a huge difference. There was nothing "wrong" with the old tub. It held water, it was clean, no cracks or wear. But it was SHALLOW (only 8 inches deep). It is also not a standard size. We found the new tub a while back and have just now had the chance to set it. Tom had to cut out a little drywall to slip it in, but what a difference!
Soon the surround will be up and this bathroom will be on its way!

This project wasn't a renovation for us, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a load of work.
New roof, drywall and plaster fixes for days, a new wall in between properties, totally repainted, new toilet, new faucets and more!
So proud of this beauty. Handing it off to the tenants today! They are a short term lease, so she'll be ready for new folks in September. Let us know if you know of someone who would live to be our South Side neighbor/tenant!

Sometimes you do some Fixin' in some tight spaces at home. Good thing we've both been working hard to stay in shape. I know I wouldn't have fit in there so well a little over a year ago, lol!
