This is the most important painting that Brush & Banner will ever have the honor of creating.
A tragic shooting occured October 6th at the Iberville Parish Courthouse, resulting in the death of one officer and severe injuries to another. I decided to create a banner for Deputy Riley’s unit, which currently stands as a memorial site.
For those who don’t know me, my dad has been a law enforcement officer my entire life. For as long as I could remember, I held the fear that he may not come home from his shift. My heart breaks for his kids who are facing that tragic reality. My prayers go out to Deputy Riley’s wife, children, and fellow officers.
To Deputy Riley, thank you for your bravery and service in our parish. Rest In Peace💙🚓
