Jobs can be denied based on inexperience for health and property safety purposes, location, and outside of licensing/insurance

Jobs can also be denied/withdrawn for any reason

Appointment and or immediate scheduling based upon daily availability and at a first come first serve basis. Dates can be claimed well in advanced

Gift Certificates are always available and do not expire

Jersey's is a legitimate local business that is licensed and Insured and is conducted only in New York State

Monthly, Bi-weekly, weekly, etc options are available

Further out clients (outside of Plattsburgh) may require additional travel rate. Cash or check only. We do not accept payment through apps such as PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, Card readers, etc

Rate may increase/decrease at any time for any reason, but will apply to all and every client (Residential and Commercial have separate rates)

Free consultation* however a travel fee may be applied depending on location

Jersey's is owned and operated by Cory and Monica only. We do not have employees nor will we, nor do we have any representatives, secretary, managers, or sub-contractors. If client is not present for the job, a check-off list may be issued and a signature will be required to ensure the job is done according to the clients wishes

If client is using a check for payment, please allow up to 5 days for it to be withdrawn from the checking account and to keep an eye on transactions as it may take a few days for us to cash a check due to not always being available to get to a bank

If a check is used for payment and the check bounces for any reason, the client is responsible for an alternative payment, bank fees that may apply, and any additional cost deemed necessary due to in the inconvenience (travel, time wasted, investigating, etc)

A client may be dropped or any reason

Receipts are available upon request

*If a consultation amounts to drawing blueprints, etc; the consultation will then be considered an odd job and subject to being charged our regular service rate

There's something that has been weighing on us, even though it's been months

As a lot of our clients know, we always send out hand written Christmas cards to our clients as a way to show appreciation and to keep old school values alive

However, this past Christmas (2025) we were struck with illnesses and injuries which caused us to not be able to work as much as we would have liked

We had to stop advertising as we didn't want to disappoint anyone if we had to turn down an odd job due to this, so we kind of felt like we couldn't have delivered any news in that time of uncertainty as we didn't have answers.

But now that the sun is rising over the horizon, we're back at it in full force, but not sending out Christmas cards has us still feeling guilty.

We hope no one took it personally or took it as we didn't want them as clients anymore— we just couldn't afford it due to having to limit work during those unfortunate and uncertain times

We do apologize to anyone that was negatively affected by it.

We made a spring-like dinner for one of our weekly clients— just because 😊

Specially homemade just for the client as they love pickle and tuna mac salad and made cube steaks to order

2 plain for Monica (she can't have certain seasonings) and she wanted to give one to the clients dog as a treat
Salt and pepper for the client
And smoky brown sugar rub for me

It tastes 1000x better than it looks 🤤

Cooking is not in our odd job roster, but we wanted to show some appreciation to our client for always being there for us as much as we are there for them

We always come to clean, get their mail, put new items and furniture together, decorate for seasons and holidays, make the bed, get their dog situated with cleaning the water and food bowls, help them sort through old mail and documents, filling humidifiers, organizing, throwing away items from the fridge that are no longer good, cleaning the walls, dusting, fixing problems with the TV/antenna, taking out the trash, and even helping ordering stuff from Amazon/door dash/etc, and literally so much more

We're more than just cleaners, we are thee odd job doers and sometimes we may even become family with clients

This doesn't look like much, but it meant more than just cleaning up and moving wood

This was something the client didn't have to worry about as we were able to take care of it for them

For this client, we assembled new patio furniture, cleaned the house, put winter items away, rearranged, moved in spring items, dog waste removal, garage clean-up and more

Along with other things we've done in the past for them including anchoring furniture, putting up blinds, installing coat hooks, hanging pictures, assembling yard equipment, rearranging furniture, cleaning appliances, putting in outlet covers for safety, hanging up kayaks, mounting TV's, installing baby gates, gardening help, full house cleaning and even taking their dog out to go potty while we're there

Sometimes the littlest things make the biggest impact, especially for those who literally don't have the time or energy to do themselves or simply just not wanting to do it themselves

Our client has been stuck working upwards to 16 hours a day since the New Year and hasn't had a break to get the little stuff done, atop taking care of their family, running errands, and usual household activities— it can be pretty damn exhausting

So, bringing in a bit of wood for them was one more thing to make their lives a little easier.

Though easy for us to complete, we still take pride and care in what we do and what we offer to help out the community with the inevitable odd jobs

This depicts that we don't discriminate small, quick, and easy jobs from larger, time-consuming, harder jobs, as we know anything that can get done to help, we'll do

A clean house AND camera installation?!

That's right!

Today we had a client who was looking for assistance in purchasing the right security cameras for their property

We sat down with my laptop and searched for varieties and features best suited for their needs and wants

We discussed the perimeter of their home and where cameras should be and also determined whether rechargeable or solar were their best options with the amount of sun they get

After evaluation, we chose all of the above and more

A dual lens solar camera in one corner that can pivot, a video doorbell, a singular solar titling camera for the garage and even discovered that one tilting plug-in camera should be inside the home to keep an eye on a specific area— all for peace of mind and safety

I searched for the right products for them online, to make sure that they are micro SD compatible so there doesn't have to be a subscription and for cameras at a reasonable price so it doesn't break the bank but also won't break if you sneeze 10ft away from it.

We all agreed on products and I then sent the item links to their phone for when they are ready to order.

Afterwards, we scheduled an appointment for a house cleaning on a day that we can do both the camera installations and the house cleaning.

What could be a better feeling than that?

The consultation today was free as the client was within the city limits, otherwise we'd have to do a small travel fee, but the feeling of safety and a clean home is priceless

We can't wait to return to hang up these cameras for them and see their smiling relief.

We're not just cleaners— we are thee odd job doers, doing what you don't want to do or can't do due to physical limitations or simply not knowing how

We've installed so many of these keypad locks for doors that allow homeowners to enter their home with ease with options of key fobs and fingerprint analysis while not compromising security.

These can also be programmed for loved ones, friends, house sitters and emergency services. Some even have WiFi options to be able to operate remotely using a mesh device within the home or office.

These types of keypads are available in places like Amazon, Lowe's, etc and we are able to install them for you with our Device Set Up Service.

We actually have one for our home so we don't have to fumble with keys, especially in timely situations or having our hands full.

It's that time of the year to really get some stuff done around your house

All the way from tedious and easy to projects you've been putting off for years that need serious work, we do it!

Feel free to use your imagination as our service roster is very large, no request, question, or job is stupid or a waste of time for us

It's almost easier to say what we don't do, which is electrical, HVAC, construction, painting, masonry, etc

We also help with opinions, project ideas, and some inspection (as long as it's within the realms of our license and insurance)

We are also in the process of revamping for the summer which could include lower prices!

Wouldn't that be a relief?!

Side note:
To anyone that has reached out before and may not have received a response, my cell service is now better with upgraded data and we upgraded our wifi service

I've been told by a few of our clients that they tried reaching out but there was literally nothing on our end so we took measures to hopefully alleviate that issue

We've been having to hold out on advertising due to this issue, plus the last 8 weeks have been very hectic due to a serious injury (bone fracture)

But we're now on the ups with new tech, tools, work drive, and good vibes— and hope to help out our community again!

To our awesome clients and potential ones

Unknowingly, I did not have calling/text service on my phone for a little while so if you've tried to reach out and didn't receive anything back, please try again as our business phone number is now reactivated.

Long story short, I had to get a new debit card and the phone provider's auto-refill service failed to accept the new card information and didn't notify us of a failed payment. (They admitted to having technical difficulties)

We've also been having difficulty with our home Wi-Fi lagging and/or being overwhelmed with all of our wifi devices (cameras, etc). We're going to be going to our provider and see what our options are.
