☃️ Happy Holidays! ☃️

🎄‘Tis the season. Santa clause is coming to town tonight! Don’t forget to leave out some cookies and milk. 🍪🥛

⚡️ We had time to fit in a quick little project for Hair By Kristin this morning, installing a brand new retractable hair dryer in the salon! ⚡️

✅Another successful project. ✅

⚡️ At first it was just a “little job” to replace some old k**b and tube wiring, but with a little trouble shooting we found that 75% of the home was k**b and tubing..

💡Thankfully with attic and basement access we were able to eliminate all the outdated wiring and replace it with brand new romex. In the process we replaced every fixture in the home with something new and installed fixtures and switches in rooms that didn’t have any to begin with. 🔌

We will be back soon to wrap up the kitchen renovations when progress allows, and to remove an old subpanel. 🛠️

⚡️ Making some progress on this project on beautiful lake Champlain. ☀️

First step is to get this garage/workshop wired up and finished for the customer, to hopefully start construction on their brand new home later this fall. 💡

⚡️⚡️Another successful day having some fun in the sun! ☀️ ☀️

It was a beautiful day out in Willsboro fulfilling this customers requests of running a 100amp feed to a detached garage, and also installing the electric for their new hot tub. ✅

This is why you should always hire a professional electrician, or any other professional tradesmen to do the work you’re needing. ⚡️⚡️

The original call was for a “garage door not working properly”, we then went to check out the problem and after doing some testing, we found the said outlet having an abnormally high voltage reading. With past experience, we then knew it was something a little bigger than just a bad outlet or a tripped breaker.
Upon opening up the panel we ended up finding the culprit of the issue, a burnt up lug on the main breaker, along with other issues as in improper grounding. 👎

As you can tell from the pictures, someone didn’t understand load calculations and just thought you could run half a town off what was thought to be a 100 amp subpanel but was actually found to be on a 60 amp breaker in the main house panel, tied on with a whole separate building… We were able to provide a new dedicated panel out to the garage, and hope to reschedule to get back and remove some of the mess of wiring.✅
