Gym conversion time! Shout out to Tracy Marks Young with 4EVER Young fitness for choosing us to make this transformation come to life. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and kept her clients in mind during this process to give them a great welcoming space to exercise in.

We took this basic basement garage and turned it into a beautiful welcoming fitness center for her and her clients. Some of the processes included in this project were-

Sheetrock repair
New LED lighting
Painted walls including concrete wall
Curtain partition
Full body mirror
Wall mounted equipment storage
New baseboards
Freshly painted doors
New exterior door
New floor (Hippies Magic Carpets)
New garage door (Renner garage door)

New ceiling! On this recent project for a customer they requested that the old nasty popcorn ceiling be removed and for a newer knock down texture on the ceiling be applied. This was just a portion of the project but you can see the stages here from after the popcorn was removed and bare Sheetrock was exposed to applying the texture, then finally a primer coat followed by a flat white ceiling paint to seal it all up. This one also had a few stains in the Sheetrock from a previous roof leak we were able to make disappear.

How about the forecast for this weekend?! To be a snow apocalypse or not to be is the question.

You know what could cause more problem than snow? How low the temperatures are supposed to be! Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights are all supposed to be single digits or possibly colder. It is very important to keep this in mind as when it gets this cold that cold will soak into the house. This could also mean freezing plumbing in your home! Below are a few suggestions to help keep that cold out as much as possible and try and avoid costly repairs!

•Open any cabinet doors that have plumbing in them that are on exterior walls and keep them open to allow warmer air flow to plumbing.

•Leave a small trickle of water running on a faucet.

•Unhook any garden hoses from exterior spigots

•Put spigot covers on outside of home.

•Make sure all windows are completely shut and latched.

•If you are on a programmed heating schedule, turn the schedule off and keep home at a set temperature.

Deck project completed right before weather turned straight to winter! We replaced cedar railing on the existing deck, added cedar slat wall under patio side of deck wrapping around to stairs, refinished cedar fence, and finally for the bigger task we added at 6’ x 8’ addition to the deck as shown above.

Customer wanted addition to accommodate grills on main deck to make cooking an easier task. They also requested something to create more privacy on the addition so that the grills aren’t as easily seen. Using 1x6 cedar boards that was accomplished with a beautiful look. All cedar on this project was also cleaned and clear sealed to bring the beauty out in the cedar.

On a project like this it is very important that drawings are made and permits are pulled to comply properly. When it would come time to sell those things would want to be verufued to check that all things were done properly. We accomplished those tasks as well making sure everything is on the up and up.

Latest project completed! This was a deck makeover on the existing structure.

Things you can see - Railing was completely replaced as previous railing was very unstable and unsafe. With proper support and connections it is now ready to hold anything back. All decking was also replaced and completed in a picture frame format so that all end grains on wood are concealed. Lighted post caps on corner posts and blank caps on all other posts.

Things you can’t see - took a 1-1/2” bow out of middle of deck. Took an out of square build and corrected it so that decking turns out proper. Replaced joist that were water damaged and rotting.

We also use the camo screw system on deck boards so that decking screws are concealed to leave a beautiful clean surface. It is also standard we use joist tape on all wood to wood mating surfaces to help prevent wood decay.

We will give this deck some time to dry out before stripping the rest of the paint and staining. Let us assist you on your deck, pergola, or outdoor railing project

Bath remodel in Raymore MO! In this project we resized the shower from a 48” wide to 60” wide and added grab bars throughout for safety. We also removed a dividing door and widened the opening to create a more open space to make the area feel larger and easier to move throughout. Customer also requested a smaller vanity so they can add storage to the side of it. LVP floors and fresh coat of paint to tie everything together. Reach out for a free estimate on your bath remodel!

Check out this quick repair we were able to assist with in Lee’s Summit. The soffit had some bubbling in the paint that then failed due to a roof leak. Roof was fixed and we came out to fix the painted area. We were able to blend it out and make it look like it never happened!

Check out this before and after shower remodel! Customer wanted assistance with the shower only as they are doing the other part of the bathroom themselves. We moved a closet wall to create a 48”x60” custom tiled shower with a shower system that includes a rain head, body sprayers, and hand wand. Schluter waterproofing system was used on this project as well to give it fantastic water protection. Reach out for your shower needs as well!
